Did some experiments with Google's Social Graph API and Twitter. Images were done with Rhizome Navigation. The graph shows mutual relationships between 200 people (with my account in the center). The background is darker in areas where people are more connected.
Started doing some Geovisualizations. First image shows the worlds cities with a population of more than 1000, data from geonames.org. Cities with more than 5 million inhabitants are labeled.

Second image visualizes conversations of about 1500 users from microblogging service Twitter. The arcs link positions of people who talk to each other.
Done with the wonderful processing.org during my time at MODUL University Vienna.

Last week I made the Twitter Weather Map. Feedback so far has been really great. Yesterday the Twitter Weather Map Widget was born. It's a UWA widget which means it should run on all the major widget platforms.
If you want another country included, just let me know! (Yes, I know, I know, people from the Netherlands are waiting desperately, but first I have to optimize the code to parse more languages than English and German efficiently.)

Wobei, wir sagen ja auch immer noch telefonieren, und nicht reden.
